The Mustangs of Las Colinas Introduction:
Located in Williams Square in Irving, Texas, the Mustangs of Las Colinas is a bronze sculpture created by Robert Glen. It depicts a group of nine wild mustangs galloping through a 1.5 times life-size bronze creek, creating the effect of splashing water with the animals’ hooves. The bronze horse fountain project was completed in 1976 and installed in 1984.

The bronze horse sculpture serves as a tribute to the wild mustangs, which historically roamed freely across much of Texas. Symbolizing power, initiative, and a free-spirited way of life, these horses were integral to the state’s early pioneering days.
