The bronze cowboy sculpture depicts the legendary cowboy performer Red Steagall on horseback. The bronze horse and cowboy sculptures are located at Where the West Begins in Fort Worth, Texas. The sculpture, which measures 8 feet tall with a 2-foot base, is located on the east lawn of Cowboytown Stadium.
Red’s dedication to preserving the Western way of life was a true expression of who he was. This bronze cowboy statue also commemorates his contribution to cowboy culture and the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.
