My journey into bronze casting wasn’t a career choice, but a calling. My entire family has been involved in bronze casting for generations. I’ve watched my grandfather, father, uncles, and aunts cast bronze sculptures since I was a child. When I first stepped into YouYi Foundry after graduating from college ten years ago, I was immediately captivated—not just by the dazzling glow of molten metal, but by the artisans’ dedicated focus and the skills they’ve passed down through generations. The fragrance of the clay, the scorching heat of the furnace, the exquisite carving, and the meticulous attention to detail—it all filled me with joy.
I’m not just casting bronze sculptures; I’m growing alongside the artisans of YouFine. I immerse myself in every intricate step of the traditional lost-wax casting process. This decade has been more than a fleeting one; it’s been a journey of continuous learning, refinement of skills, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, a pursuit that has become the cornerstone of our foundry.

I ensure the integrity of the artist’s original clay model is absolutely respected, that the materials we select are of the highest quality, and that the final patina is more than just a color; it is the lifeblood of the sculpture.

My hands, like those of my fathers, meticulously examine every detail of the clay model and the finished bronze piece. I understand the nuances of every curve in a figure’s expression and the importance of every casting detail. From the initial review of the 1:1 clay model to the inspection of the wax replica, overseeing the crucial bronze pour, and guiding the final hand-polishing and patina treatment, my decade of experience is infused into every piece that leaves our factory.
