This famous Atlas Statue was crafted by sculptor Lee Lawrie and installed at Rockefeller Center in New York in 1937. The bronze Greek sculpture depicts the Titan Atlas from Greek mythology, kneeling powerfully while holding the armillary celestial sphere upon his shoulders. Every muscle and the detailed rings of the globe are vividly carved, presenting a solemn and strong artistic charm.
